Pauline Margaret Deems

Pauline Margaret Deems (Soldan) - Age 88 passed into the arms of her savior on April 2, 2026. Born November 7, 1937 to Luella and Peter Soldan. Pauline graduated in 1955 from Crestline High School in Crestline, Ohio. She graduated from Columbus Business School in 1956 and in 1957 married her high school sweetheart, Clarence Ronald (Andy) Deems. During their 63 years of marriage Pauline enjoyed a life of farming with Ron and managing the office of Andy's Water Conditioning later known as Ecowater of Mid-Ohio. After retirement, Pauline enjoyed boating and enjoying the outdoors at their home on Candlewood Lake.

Pauline was active in Christian ministry first with Calvary United Church of Christ and later at Williamsport United Methodist Church, where she was a pianist. She was a 43 year member and Past Matron of the Order of the Eastern Star-Warpole Chapter in Upper Sandusky, Past President of Crestline Kiwanis, and past member of the Gideons International Auxiliary. She dearly loved her grandchildren and great grandchildren and enjoyed watching them grow up. She enjoyed cross stitch, puzzles, baking, and candy making. She especially enjoyed Blueberry Timbits and a Mocha Ice Cap, her favorite treats.

Pauline was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Lloyd Soldan, her best friend Janet Allen, and her beloved husband Ron. She is survived by her sons; Rick (Debbie) Deems, David (Maura) Deems, Mark (Melissa) Deems, and Andy (Robin) Deems; 14 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, nieces & nephews, friends, and loved ones.

A Celebration of Life Open House will be held on April 26, 2026 from 3:00- 5:00PM in the Ministry Center at Grace Polaris Church, Westerville, Ohio. Internment will be at St. Paul Reformed Cemetery, Vernon Township, Ohio. Memorial contributions may be made to Sourcepoint of Delaware County and Compassus Ohio Health Hospice.
