Penny Sue Govekar

Penny was the beloved daughter of David M. Taylor and Janice L. Sabic. She married Johnathan P. Govekar on June 28, 2008, beginning a partnership filled with love and family.

Family was at the heart of Penny’s life. She survived by her children Adam (Ashley) Davis, Sayza (Arnold) McFadden, and Kaycee (Justin Templer) Govekar, as well as her grandchildren Leila and Lilith McFadden, Carter Davis and Charli Templer. She treasured her children and grandchildren and found great joy in spending time with them. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Johnathan, her children and grandchildren, and the many family members and friends whose lives she touched.

She is preceded in death by her mother in law Dona Govekar; father David Taylor; mother Janice Sabic; grandson Link McFadden; and her beloved pets Milo, Muffin and Sebastian.

Penny had a creative and adventurous spirit. Among the passions that brought her happiness were cooking, traveling when she could, and art. Above all, she treasured the time spent with her kids and grandkids, creating the everyday moments that become the memories a family carries forever.

Those who knew Penny will remember her for the love she gave to her family, her creativity, and the joy she found in life’s simple pleasures. Her memory will live on through the people she loved, the lessons she shared, and the countless moments that will be cherished for years to come.

Penny Sue Govekar will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
