Phyllis L. Snedegar, 77, of Westerville, Ohio peacefully entered the Kingdom of Heaven surrounded by her loved ones on November 11, 2023. She was born on September 26, 1946, to Lucille and Phillip Gornall.
Phyllis is survived by her loving husband of nearly 46 years, William, daughter Kimberly (Nick Shipley) Tramuta, son Randy (Teressa) Snedegar, daughter Erica Snedegar, son Chad (Julia) Snedegar, her seven grandchildren: Jordon, Kaleb, Whitney, Christian, Joshua, Nathan, and Sophia; her two sisters, her three brothers, and her dog Shelby.
Phyllis will be greeted in Heaven by her son, Cam Whalen, her parents, and her sister Beverly Hooper.
Phyllis, who is often referred to as Sissy, Sis, or Mema, will be remembered for the unconditional love she gave to her family and her friends, her unwavering faith in God, her boundless generosity, and her uncanny ability to make her loved ones feel special. Phyllis found joy in her everyday life with a fruitful sense of humor, a passion for Ohio State football, and a great golf stroke. She enjoyed a competitive round of putt-putt with her grandkids, had an eye for classic cars, a love for horses, and could often be found dancing in the kitchen to her favorite Elvis songs. Phyllis put her whole heart into everything that she did. She kept her friends and family laughing, filled her house with love, welcomed everyone with open arms, and always made sure that everyone had a present around the Christmas tree.
While she will be missed beyond comprehension, we find solace in the fact that she is reunited with her son, and know that the grief we feel so deeply is matched only by the love we shared with her during her wonderful life.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Phyllis' memory may be made to Nationwide Children's Hospital in Memory of Cam Whalen.
Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.Schoedinger.com for the Snedegar family.
