

Richard “Dick” Glover, Sr., 79 of Columbus, Ohio, born August 1, 1944, in Alvy, WV the youngest son of Clyde R. and Kathryn Kinney Glover went home to be with our Lord and Savior on August 8, 2023 while surrounded by his wife, children and grandchildren.
Dick, was a proud veteran of the Army and proudly served on the Old Guard and stood guard at President Kennedy’s grave. Dick attended Tyler County High School in Middlebourne, WV before enlisting in the U.S. Army. Dick retired from Bayer CropScience Corporation in 2002.
Dick was a loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather who loved spending time with his family, and spent most of his time with his grandchildren, attending various sporting events and outings. Dick enjoyed spending many fall weeks at Canaan Valley in WV.
Dick was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, Freda Phillips and Dorothy Henderson; one brother, Forrest Glover of Alvy, WV; and son-in-law Roger Howdyshell. He is survived by his devoted wife of 60 years, Judy Mason Glover; his three children Rick Glover of Hilliard, Ohio; Lora Howdyshell of Hilliard, Ohio and Robin (Dominic) Rotolo of Columbus, Ohio; four grandchildren Sam Glover; Juliana, Olivia and Gabriela Rotolo; one brother, Fred Glover of Alvy, and many nieces and nephews.
There will be a Christian Graveside and Committal Service with Military Honors at Victory Cemetery in Shirley, WV on Saturday, September 23, 2023 at 10:00am.
