Robert "Bob" Jones Rogers

Robert Jones (Bob) Rogers was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma and moved to Brookside in Worthington, Ohio in 1972. Bob graduated from Worthington High School, Class of 1984, where he excelled on the Worthington soccer team and went on to play soccer in college at Bowling Green University. Throughout his life he was a terrific cook, golfer, skier, and loved fishing and biking. Bob was an avid Buckeyes fan and Saturdays were always great food, great fun, and football.

Bob was an amazing son, brother, and friend, always ready to help friends and family. Bob was especially devoted to his late mother, Carole J. Rogers. Bob is survived by Bob and Ellen Rogers, his sister Caroline Rogers Massey, niece Olivia Massey and her husband Thomas Norris, an aunt and many cousins, and dear family friends Sara Larson and Margo Olson. Bob was loved by all.

A celebration of life will be held at Counterbalance Brewing, 5055 Dierker Road, Columbus, Ohio on Friday June 20, 2025, from 4:00 to 6:30 pm. In lieu of flowers please make a donation to the charity of your choice in Bob’s name.
