Ronald L. Gribble, 79, passed away on September 17, 2026. Born in Whitehall, Ohio, Ron was an avid outdoorsman and a skilled marksman with a bow and arrow who especially enjoyed bow hunting and fishing for Walleye. He had a lifelong love of labrador retrievers. Ron worked for Anheuser-Busch for 35 years. After retiring, he moved to Huron, Ohio, where his love of fishing and Lake Erie led him to become a successful charter boat captain.
He is survived by his wife, Harvietta Newland-Gribble, and his three daughters, Robin (John) Gardner & Brianna, Shannon (Darrell) Chapman and Kyle and Kayla, and Shawn Spraggins and Stephanie, as well as other great grandchildren. Ron was loved by many and will be missed by all.
Visitation will be held at Schoedinger Worthington, 6699 N High Street, Worthington, OH 43085, on October 6, 2026, from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm.
A Funeral Service Outside of Mass will take place at Schoedinger Worthington, 6699 N High Street, Worthington, OH 43085, on October 7, 2026, from 11:00 am to 11:30 am.
Final Committal will follow at Green Lawn Cemetery, 1000 Greenlawn Ave, Columbus, OH 43223, on October 7, 2026, from 12:00 pm to 12:15 pm.
