Sandra Sue Wickiser was born April 1st 1942, an April fools baby. Sandy told many stories about tricks her parents pulled on her birthday. A favorite story was a cake with a Barbie doll on the top with a large skirt as the cake. When she went to cut the cake it was hard popcorn that wouldn't cut...her real cake was in another room.
Sandy is preceded in death by her mother Lauretta Rhoads, her father Glenn Rhoads, her husband Tom Wickiser, and her youngest son Scott Wickiser. Survived by son Rick/Amy Wickiser, and daughter Barb/Brad Montgomery. Daughter in law Susan Karkosak. Grandchildren Tyler/Brittany, Ryan, Kylie and Bryce Wickiser. Savannah/Nick Richardson and Jacob/Baylee Montgomery. Manuel, Noah and Ben Wickiser. Great Grandchildren Gabby, Carson and Cooper Wickiser. Sandy was an only child , but felt her cousin Ginni Douridas was like a sister to her growing up. Sandy graduated from The Ohio State University. Sandy spent the best years of her life working at Finocchi Photography, surrounded by her best friends. Sandy loved all 9 of her grandchildren, and 3 great grandchildren with all her heart.
Sandy loved sports, so she and Tom were at as many Hockey, Softball, Basketball and Baseball games as they could make. Sandy and Tom loved spending time with the family in Myrtle Beach and Hilton Head. Sandy would spend hours walking the beach looking for sharks teeth. She would always come back with a handful for the kids. Sandy loved shopping for the kids and grandkids, especially at Kohls where great deals would get celebrated with a fist bump! Rick and Barb will miss her greatly, but they are relieved to know she is no longer in pain. Knowing Sandy is now reunited with Tom and Scott brings a sense of relief and happiness! A celebration of life will soon follow this summer❤️
