S. Allen Wooten was born on June 23, 1941 in Columbus, Ohio and passed away peacefully on April 22, 2022 at the age of 80 years old. He is pre-deceased by his parents Ira and Georga, and brothers Earl (Betty),Tom (Carol) and Sister-in-Law, Yvette Cox. He is survived by his wife Renette, his son Michael (Donna) Caldwell, brother-in-law, Jim Cox and his two Golden Retrievers, Noel and Leo. Services will be held privately.
Mr. Wooten worked as a tool and die maker for A.E. Tool & Die. He served his Country in the United States Army and served his community for many years as a Columbus Fire Department Medic and Firefighter, retiring in 1992.. He was a proud member of the Masonic Lodge for many years and dedicated to helping others.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the Columbus Fire Department Museum, Alzheimer’s Association or Delaware County Humane Society.
