Stuart Robert Bolin

Stuart Robert Bolin, age 83, passed away September 27, 2026, at Riverside Methodist Hospital after suffering a fall. He was courageous and fought a good fight. He was born in Columbus, Ohio to Harry B. and Mary E. (Webb) Bolin on September 30, 1942.

Stuart worked at OSU for many years and just recently retired from Ross Publishing Company. He loved to work and often held several jobs. He also loved to travel in and around Ohio, often enjoying visits to Holmes County. He would take his mobility scooter all over the neighborhood to visit with friends and anyone who would talk with him. He loved people and didn’t know a stranger.

He was a member of Charisma Life Church for many years and recently at Life Church at Easton.

Stuart is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Judy, daughter Melissa Hawk, sisters Georgianna Davis and Dorothy Davis, and brother Charles Bolin. He is preceded in death by his parents, Harry and Mary, his sisters Rose Smith and Mary Person, and his brother Hiram Bolin.

Stuart’s family will have private services. Care entrusted to Schoedinger Funeral Services with interment at Forest Lawn Memorial Garden.
