

Susan received her bachelor’s degree from the University of Hartford and would later go on to receive her Masters degree from The Ohio State University. Following her education, she taught for 35 years at Big Walnut Local Schools.
In her free time, Susan loved crafting and making custom greeting cards which were popular amongst her friends and family. She also loved spending time at the family house in Florida, where she and her husband enjoyed boating, watching wildlife, and eating oysters. In addition, Susan was a proud member of St. Paul Catholic Church in Westerville.
Susan was known by many as a kind, generous, and loving person. She believed that family was everything, that “love is love”, and that kindness is the most powerful, healing force in this world. She was adored by her family and spent as much time as possible with her children and her grandchildren. She will be missed for her unconditional love of her family and friends, for her sunny personality and her willingness to do anything to help someone in need.
She will be greatly missed by her loving husband and soulmate of 50 years, Jeff; sister, Alene Wisnevsky; children, Michael (Jill) Hadden and Meghan (Jeffrey) Rankey; brother-in-law, Mark Hadden; sister-in-law, Carol Parker; five grandchildren and a nephew.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 3, 2025, from 4pm until 7pm, at the Schoedinger Worthington funeral home, 6699 North High St., Worthington OH, 43085.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Susan’s name may be made to a charity of your choice.
