

Thomas Kent, 66, of Columbus passed away on March 1, 2022. He was born on December 31, 1955, in Cleveland, to the late Carson and Mary Jean (Taylor) Kent. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his beloved Aunt, Martha Kent.
Thomas was a graphic designer at WBNS 10TV for nearly 22 years prior to his retirement. He was known to have a snarky sense of humor and was always one to crack a joke. As a young boy, he was involved with Indian Guides with his father and brothers. Additionally, Thomas had a fascination with magic; he enjoyed learning new tricks and performing as a magician into adulthood. He also had a great fondness for music and would attend Trans-Siberian Orchestra concerts annually. Amelia and Jude were his little rays of sunshine; he loved being their PawPaw and spending time with them.
Thomas will be greatly missed by his wife, Karen Kent; children, Rachel (Josh) Stegman and Sarah Kent; step-daughters, Kimberly (David) Yoder, Marcella (Mitzi) Hutchings, and Toni (Matt) Hutchings; brothers, Bill (Kim) Kent; Dave (Nan) Kent, and twin sister, Sue (Howard) Rohleder; and seven grandchildren.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 9, 2022, from 4PM until 7PM, at the Schoedinger Worthington funeral home. A service will be held in the chapel at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens on Thursday, March, 10, 2022, at 11:30AM.
