Tim Allen Maurer

Tim Maurer passed away on November 10, 2022. He was born on April 17, 1967 in Toledo, Ohio. Tim graduated from Whitmer High School in 1985. He continued his education at The Ohio State University. Tim met the love of his life, Sanito Mendoza, in 1993 in Columbus, and were wed in 1998. In 2012, they were adopted by their fur baby, Popo. Tim had a vision to accentuate beauty which inspired him to create an all natural, mineral based custom cosmetic and skincare line in 2000. This led to the opening of Mukha Spa in 2003. He was a passionate philanthropist and deeply involved with a number of charities. A few of his hobbies included gardening and creating floral arrangements, gourmet cooking, and traveling. His love of music continued to be articulated through playing the flute and piano. He is preceded in death by his father-in-law, Sonny, and mother-in-spirit, Hazel. He is survived by his parents Jerry and Margie; mother-in-law Mae; brothers Danny (Jennifer), Terry (Jamie); sister Kelly (Curt); brother-in-laws Steve (Carmila), Stan (Kristina); nieces Tanya, Jenna, Sierra, Nikki; nephews Jeremy, Corey, Jacob, Joe, Joshua, Troy, Jay, Clinton; and a plethora of friends.
