

Tuck Takashi Saul was born in Yamagata, Japan on November 19, 1947. He died in Columbus, Ohio on September 29th, 2026 from Alzheimer’s disease. He was preceded in death by his mother, Susie Saul (Tamae Abiko) and his stepfather, Rex Saul.
Tuck grew up on army bases in New Jersey, Germany and Hinesville, Georgia. He got a BS in nursing at the University of Oklahoma and was an RN in Viet Nam, Denver, Colorado and Walter Reed Hospital in Washington DC. Tuck went back to school and got a MSW and a PhD in Counseling Psychology. He was a staff psychologist at The Ohio State University for 5 years and a psychologist in private practice for more than 30 years. Retiring from Psychology, he became an Executive Coach through the Hudson Institute in Santa Barbara, California and worked with many of the major companies in Columbus.
Tuck loved to golf, play his guitar and play any game whether it be poker or monopoly. He could play forever with his grandchildren. Tuck was a long-term member of the Dublin-Worthington Rotary. He was also a lifelong Sooners fan.
Tuck leaves behind his wife of nearly 50 years, Suzanne, and a loving stepson, Austin Skinner. In addition to three grandchildren, Savannah and her husband Michael, Colten and Cheyanne, Tuck leaves a great grandson, Denver. Beth and Brigid, Tuck’s nieces were almost like members of the family.
Tuck will be honored at a Celebration of Life at Schoedinger Worthington, 6699 N High Street, Worthington, OH 43085, US, on October 7, 2026, from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm.
