Vicky Marie Backie

Vicky (Viney) Backie originally of Canton, Ohio was born on January 11, 1955. She passed away at age 71 on March 11, 2026 in Grove City, Ohio. Vicky was a graduate of Kent State University and became a registered nurse until her retirement. She was a caretaker at work and at home helping many people throughout her lifetime. Vicky was married on May 21, 1977 to Terry B. Backie until his passing on December 28, 2003. Vicky is survived by her daughter Katrice Backie and brother Michael Tabler. She was preceded in death by her parents Floyd and Virgie Viney, loving husband Terry Backie, and beloved daughter Terri Backie. She will be dearly missed by all those who love her.
