

He grew up in Westerville, Ohio and graduated from Westerville High School in 1972. He continued his education earning his ASBA and BSBA degree from Franklin University. He then attended Xavier University and Central Michigan University earning his MA Degree in Business Administration.
Victor held various positions within the United States Postal Service. After 32 years, he retired as Post Master of the Lewis Center Post Office. He was a member of the Worthington Moose Lodge #1427, a meeting place for Post Office friends. He enjoyed many hobbies including; wine making, real estate/investing, farm shows, agribusiness and grocery shopping to pick up his favorite snacks. Victor loved all things music and over the years he grew a large LP collection. In addition to music, he loved aviation and was a licensed pilot. He was a great handyman and frequently would be seen carrying a blue bucket of tools around with him. He never met a stranger was always willing to lend a hand to anyone who needed help. He loved all cars and worked at the old Humble Station on Shrock Rd. and Cleveland Ave when he was just 15 years old. Although, he had a love for many things one thing he hated was paying Clintonville property taxes. He will be greatly missed by his best friend James Colleli.
Victor is survived by his loving wife of 29 years Patricia Kahler (Wyant). Amongst every big accomplishment in his life, his biggest was being a father to his daughter Emma Grace Kahler. They had a very special bond and they were everything to each other. Victor is also survived by his brothers; Steve (Barb) Kahler, Thomas (Sue) Kahler; brother in laws; Steve (Linda) Wyant, Mike (Rhonda) Wyant and Dan (Holly) Wyant; mother-in-law Roberta Wyant; nieces and nephews, Karla, Kurt, Nick and Natalie Kahler, Nikki Dennis and Erin Begonia. Victor is preceded in death by his parents Karl and Mary Kahler and nephew Andrew Wyant and father-in-law James E. Wyant. His family takes comfort in knowing he is now with three favorite pets; Tucker, Sam and Ellie.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 12, 2022 from 4-8pm at SCHOEDINGER WORTHINGTON 6699 N High St, Worthington, Ohio 43085.
