Yong Pil Ko, 70, of Columbus, passed away on July 22, 2024. He was born on December 27, 1953, in South Korea, to the late Man and Indae (Cho) Ko. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Hui Cha Ko; and his step-son, Jimmy.
Yong was a proud business owner having owned a restaurant and a small food market. In his free time he enjoyed to read and write and he had a wonderful personality.
He will be greatly missed by his children, Peter Ko and Heeyong Ko; grandchildren, Eliot, Grayson, Ava, and Carter; siblings, Chong Cochran, Cong Cho, Sang Jin Ko, Sang Sik Ko, and Chulu Ko; step-children, Mark and Leah; five nephews, 4 nieces, and numerous extended family and close family friends.
A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, August 3, 2024, at 10am, at the Schoedinger Worthington Funeral Home, 6699 North High St., Worthington OH, 43085.
