I had forgotten how much Uncle Stan looked like Daddy. They were so handsome, even into older age. Uncle Stan was always so kind and I remember he and Aunt Alice always planning a trip to somewhere exciting.
 I know how it is to miss your Dad as Mom went home just weeks ago.She is probably excited to show Uncle Stan around those streets of gold.

Uncle Stan's wooden flowers have remained frozen in time in an old vase on my office bookshelf for years and will remain there as long as I do here.  Many fond memories.
