Curt, a.k.a. “ The Hutch” , was a well-known radio personality for over three decades at Yakima stations KXDD and The Bull, continuously ranked #1. He had a loyal family of listeners and he loved making people laugh on and off the air. Curt had a special way of talking to people, showing he really cared. Everyone who knew him would agree he was the strongest man they knew. He never complained of the cards he was dealt, eventhough he had been through a lot, including two kidney transplants, two hip replacements, skin cancer, lung cancer and finally heart failure. Curt’ s heart never failed, though, when it came to the love he gave his family and friends. He will be missed tremendously, yet never forgotten.
Curt is survived by his wife of 41 years, Pam Miland Hutchinson; mother, Ludean Osburn; daughters, Dana Cooper, Melanie Bailey and Lindsay Curtis; and brothers, Darrell, Ron and Max Hutchinson. He was also the very proud grandpa of seven grandchildren, Zakery, Jayden and Kenady Cooper; Devan and Tyler Bailey and Tateum and Teryn Curtis.
