Albert E. Bowden

September 13, 1940September 27, 2019

Albert E Bowden, 79, was born in Yakima, WA on Sept. 13, 1940 to Roy and Rosa Bowden. Having lived his whole life in Yakima, he died on Sept. 27, 2019.

Albert was a volunteer firefighter and EMT. He had his private pilot’s license, and enjoyed scuba diving and square dancing. He also kept very busy with the family business, Bowden’s Auto Parts. Most of all, Al loved his time with family and friends.

Albert was preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Rosa Bowden; his son AJ Bowden; grandson Travis Bowden; and his sister. He is survived by his wife, Delores Bowden, brother Roy Bowden Jr., daughters Tammy Johnson (Michael) and Charlene Rennaker (Patrick) and niece Tami Speer (Mike), 14 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be Wednesday, October 2, 2019 from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Langevin El Paraiso Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial will be at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Moxee on Thursday, October 3, at 1:30 p.m. followed by burial at Holy Rosary Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Red Cross or the East Valley Fire Department in Albert’s memory.
