Alice Lauzon Hill

Alice L. Hill, 98, passed into the arms of the Lord on January 2, 2018. Alice was Born in Madoc Montana to Emil Lauzon and Louise Paradis, but considered the Yakima Valley her home as the family moved here when she was two.

Alice married Scott Hill in 1937 and together they raised 4 children in Toppenish: Donna, Ronald, Joyce (Dodd) and Marvin.

Throughout her life in the Valley she worked for the Rothe family, the fruit warehouses, founding and building the business “Alice’s Flowers” in Toppenish (sold in 1964) and raising her children.

Always saying how blessed she was to live in this fruitful valley Alice enjoyed her many friends, cards, and a multitude of social events.

She was preceded in death by her husband Scott, daughter Donna, and son Marvin.

Alice is survived by her son Ronald (Becky), daughter Joyce (Ron Dodd), grandchildren, great & great-great grandchildren (the newest born on December 26!) and dear friends Thomas and Wanda Almeida.

The family plans on a memorial gathering at a future date.
