Alma Geniva (Jean) Byrd joined the love of her life Saturday October 12, 2019 in heaven. Larry and Jean were married January 28, 1976, until he passed in 1999.

Jean was born on June 23, 1943 a daughter of the late Loren and Ethel Jones in Yakima, WA.

Jean enjoyed family, friends, her knitting group at wellness house and painting realistic ceramic animals.

Her favorite holiday was her Christmas party celebrated on December 23 every year with 40 plus people; every child received a gift.

She is survived by a blended family. Her children Jeannie (Carl) Jennerjohn, Debie (Jay) Nell, Katrina Ring, Ronald (Pamela) Ring, her step children Debbi (Lewis) Klueber, Larry Cummings, Teresa Daniel, and Regina Byrd, 21 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, and helper Rick Cuevas.

She was preceded in death by her husband Larry, sister Willa Dean Strader and her parents.

Visitation will be held at Keith & Keith Funeral Home on Thursday, October 17, 2019 from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held at Keith & Keith Funeral Home on Friday, October 18, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. Concluding services and burial will follow at West Hills Memorial Park.
