He was preceded in death by sisters Jean and Zona, brothers Eddie and Dale, father Cecil, and mother Cora "Verna."
He leaves wife Tina, stepson Mike Purcell, brother Gordon Harris, wife Mary, and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins. Al drove long-haul trucking, making stops and calls all the way checking on family and friends. This stretched from coast to coast. When he was home he enjoyed fishing on White Pass at Dog Lake, NASCAR racing, camping, pinochle and cribbage.
Family viewing will be followed by cremation. A celebration of life will be at Dog Lake later in June.
