Angeline Olson

With hearts full of love, we announce that Angeline (Angie) Olson, age 93, of Selah, Washington was called home to be with the Lord on January 29th, 2026, in Yakima, Washington. She passed away surrounded by her family and is now resting peacefully.

Angie was born on September 7th, 1932, in Solen, North Dakota. She was rooted in faith and guided by a love for God and her family, a foundation that shaped her life. She had two sisters and four brothers who she loved dearly. She moved to Yakima, Washington and met Gary W. Olson Sr. They got married on February 24, 1962, in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. They later moved to Selah, Washington and purchased a fruit orchard. Throughout her years, she worked at Shepard’s Camera & Sound. Afterwards, she opened her own business called Olson Crop Insurance in Selah.

Outside of work, Angie loved photography, sewing, golfing and was a member of a bowling league for several years. She will always be remembered as a loving and hard-working mother, grandma and friend.

Angie is preceded in death by her parents Henry & Anna Horning, her two sisters, three of her brothers and her husband Gary Olson Sr. She is survived by her only son Gary Olson Jr, his wife Carolyn, her only granddaughter Rachel and her brother Don Horning from Rapid City, South Dakota.

Though we miss Angie more than words can say, we find peace knowing she is home with the Lord.
