Ann always brought joy, humor, honesty and PERSONALITY to all she did. A force to be reckoned with! Here she is with Jan and Sue,  we were yucking it up about the green color that was for some reason all the rage. She always made me think and laugh (and often think again later!) A incredibly delightful child of God and a powerful example of His grace!

I can remember one of the first times I came across you.  I can picture it like it was yesterday.  I walked into the Academy one morning for work. You kind of "greeted" everyone in those days.  You took one look at me and said, "I love your bag!"  It was a wool, Native-inspired pattern I had purchased at Wildhorse Casino.  It was the great colors of the American Southwest.   Your reaction was hilarious and I thought to myself, "Wow, this lady really loves it, and I DON'T!  I could make her really happy today by giving it to her."  So, I did. I emptied it, and took it to your office.  I gifted it to you.  You couldn't believe it!! You almost wouldn't take it.  HAHA. Almost.  You enjoyed the bag for a time.  A few years later you had a bloody nose and needed help. I was worried about you, so I took you some items of food and other things.  I can remember walking into your home and seeing some amazing artwork, jewelry, carpets, and  other decorative items. I  recognized a theme, and I quickly decided we were kindred spirits.  I stayed with you for a time that day. We talked and laughed, and shared some personal stories.  I wanted to visit a lot more often, but I was busy caring for my own mom, who passed just a few months ago.  Thru that whole time, You were always on my mind and in my heart.  I hope that you have found true peace and happiness, are healthy,  surrounded by friends and family, and leading some sort of group for women.  I will never forget you... May you RIP Ann.  See you when I get there one day!

Ann was a very special person! Amazing in my mind! I worked with her. We would meet and have lunch often. She made such a difference in so many students life and has a place in many hearts! 

Ann was a dear friend. She had an amazing heart. She used that compassion to help hundreds of kids over her many years of counseling.  We had many wonderful conversations over the years. We will miss her greatly! We were blessed to have her in our lives.

I worked with Ann for 28 years at Sundown and even after retiring we still tried to stay in contact.  We would meet for lunch with others that had retired about the same time.  The latest lunch date was 
12-15-22.  Ann was an amazing woman and I'm proud to call her my friend.
