Ann Michelle Northcott, born September 30th, 1976, at Yakima Valley Memorial Hospital in Yakima, Washington, passed away peacefully on December 6th, 2019 while on a cruise over the Pacific Ocean. Ann was only 43 years of age and lived with her husband and four children in Gleed, Washington.
Ann was born to Michael Cost and Mary Bernier in 1976 and grew up in Gleed, Washington. After she graduated from Naches Valley High School in June 1995 Ann immediately purchased her own home and began working at Yakima Valley Memorial Hospital as an EKG technician and Laboratory Phlebotomist. After 13 years, she transitioned to the Sleep Lab for an additional three years. While working at memorial she met her husband, Justin Northcott. Ann had participated in the Foster Care program over several years and helped many kids before officially adopting Brianna Marie Northcott in 2004. She later gave birth to Chance Riley Northcott in 2005, Ryker Taylor Northcott in 2008 and Harper Ann Northcott in 2014. After having four children, Ann decided to follow her passion and leave YVMH to be a stay at home mom. She poured all of her love and passion into our home and we will forever feel her presence.
Ann was preceded in death by her grandparents, Jim and Betty Askins, Neva Mae Roberts and Harold Cost, as well as her father Michael Donnell Cost and uncle Danny Lee Cost.
