Anna Marie Kraining was born February 28, 1926 to Fred and Mary 110 Brinkman in Winchester, Idaho. The family moved to the Clarkston area when she was a baby. She graduated from Clarkston High School then moved to Spokane to attend telegrapher school. She went on to work for the Union Pacific Railroad where she met her husband Chuck Kraining. They settled in Yakima where they raised two children (Chuck from Seabeck and Mary from Yakima).
Anna was a stay at home mom but enjoyed her time with the Union Pacific Railroad Old Timers Club. She also volunteered in various community associations. After her husband passed away in 1980 she went to school at YVC in the Displaced Homemakers program. She made the Dean's List. Through her affiliation with AARP she was able to experience several jobs including DSHS, and the
American Cancer Society. She worked as a receptionist at H&R Block for several years.
She "adopted" many individuals throughout her life as part of her family. Her loves were sewing, gardening and family. Anna is preceded in death by her husband Chuck, her parents Fred and Mary 110 and her sister Helen Collinsworth. The family wishes to express their gratitude to Willow Springs staff and the patients for their kindness. At her request feel free to donate to the charity of your choice.
