Annie Ruth (Ann) Dorning

Annie Ruth (Ann) Dorning was born in Langley, WA on Whitbey Island to George E. Furman and Ruth Violet Metcalf Furman. Ann was the oldest of 8 daughters. She married Ray S. Dorning November 3, 1948. She divorced Ray in 1973. Ann was an LPN for over 30 years and raised 8 children of her own. She enjoyed gardening/church and family.

She is survived by 5 of her children: Lois Wright of Union Gap, Clyde Dorning & John Dorning of St. Maries, ID, Dale (Lyn) Dorning, Connie (James) Stone and daughter-in-law June Dorning; sisters, Orpha Bogart, Grace (Don) Hampton, Gloria Condit; and her significant other Percy Surgeon. Ann was preceded in death by her parents, sisters Sarah Louise, who died as an infant, Mary Georgia & Aleda Rose. Also 2 sons, Larry & Bruce Dorning.
