

On December 8, 2013, Arthur H. Perschke, passed away at the Cottage at the Meadows. Art was born in Mandan, ND, September 2, 1935 to Peter and Clara (Kastet) Perschke. He moved to Yakima as a young child. Art was in the automotive industry, including Morrow Motors and Frank’s Chevrolet.
Art married Toni, Warren on December 19, 1959. The couple have 2 daughters, Sheryl Clarke, (Duayne) and Karen Fecht, (Brian), both of Yakima, and 1 granddaughter Rena Hopkins, (Jason Smith) of Beaverton, OR & 2 step-grandchildren, Ashley (Geoff) VanDragt of Seattle and Eric Fecht of Abu-Dhabi, U.A.E.
The family would like to thank Heart Links/Lower Valley Hospice especially Rachel, Lisa, Debbie G., Sandra and Pam. The staff at Cottage in the Meadows for their excellent care. The staff and residents of Rexford for their love and support, and son-in-law Duayne for his tireless care of Art and going above and beyond the call of duty.

Visitation will be held Sunday, December 15, 2013 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and Monday, December 16, 2013 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Langevin-Mussetter Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday December 17, 2013 West Hills Memorial Park, with a memorial service following at 11:00 a.m. at Central Lutheran Church, 16th and Yakima Ave. Please join us for lunch after in the churches downstairs Fellowship Hall.
