Audrey Marie Jolley

Audrey was born on June 20, 1931 in Estevan, Saskatchewan, Canada to Edward and Cecilia Himmelspach. She was raised in Saskatchewan until her teen years when her family moved to Yakima where she resided until her death.

She met Ike, the love of her life, & they married in 1949. They raised three sons. She graduated Business College and worked in the medical field including many years working with Dr. Gotlieb until she retired. She was a lifelong member of the Catholic Church. Audrey was an avid baseball fan. She enjoyed many summer nights with her mother watching the Yakima Bears in the early years. She loved talking baseball which often led to heated debates with her sons and grandsons.

Audrey is survived by sons Dan Sr. (Patti), Kim (Jean) and Rick (Roxy), sister, MaryAnn Thomier all of Yakima, 4 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and a sister Darlene Himmelspach.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 9, 2014 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with a vigil service starting at 6:00 p.m. at Keith and Keith Funeral Home. There will be a Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday, September 10, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Family Chapel. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requested donations may be made to the American Heart Association in Audrey’s name.
