

Barbara D. Lynch, 59, died Wednesday, July 20, 2016 at her home. She was born April 29, 1957 to Helen (Spencer) and Richard Smith in Walla Walla, WA. Barbara spent some of her childhood in California but made Yakima her home.
She married Robert T. Lynch on Nov. 15, 1980 at Holy Family. Barbara had 2 children, Chad Wiechelman and Christine Lynch.
Barb spent many years working in the HVAC business as an office manager and made lifelong friends there. She also worked at ESD for several years before she became a full time crafty chick. She was a seamstress, card maker, scrapbooker and quilter.
Barb joined the Rainbow girls along with her daughter, Chrissy. She became a Mother Advisor and loved working with the girls. She was known as Queen Barbilicious to her Red Hat Diva Devine group.
Barb loved to travel with her husband Bob; they often traveled with friends to the beach and made several trips to Mexico. Barb and Bob enjoyed spending time with some very special friends during happy hour at Hoops.
Barb was preceded in death by her parents Richard and Helen Smith.
She is survived by her husband of 35 years, Robert T. Lynch; son, Chad Wiechelman; daughter, Christine Lynch; brother, Donald (Janet) Smith; sisters, Teri Smith and Toni (John) Swanson; and 4 grandchildren, Orron, Isis, Evan and AJ.
