2013. Born in 1931 in Yakima, WA, daughter of Hamilton J. and Dorothy (Lambert)
Webert, Jean graduated from Highland High School in 1949 and married the love of
her life Donald C. Macy in 1950. Don always believed he was so lucky that Jean was
his wife. Jean and Don farmed together in the lower Yakima Valley for many years
and upon retirement moved to Terrace Heights.
Important to Jean were family events, prayer, bible study, church and grandchildren.
Jean was creative and loved to work with craft items including stained glass and
personalized cards. Jean would often say, "God is good and knows what He is doing!
That is reassuring and comforting! Oh Joy!" She served as a speaker and in
leadership positions with Christian Women's Club (Stonecroft Ministeries) for
nearly two decades.
Jean is survived by her husband of 62 years, children Janet K. Leach (David), Michael
D. Macy (Becky) and Patti J. Brown (Denny). Adored and loved by 9 grandchildren
and 13 great grandchildren, she is also survived by her sister Joanne Anderson of
Seattle and her sisters-in-law Beverly Webert of PA and Betty Mansperger (Gene) of
W A. She was preceded in death by parents Hamilton and Dorothy Webert, brothers
