Barbara J. Rodriguez

Barbara (Barb) Rodriguez 59 went home to her Lord Savior on March 5, 2012 after battling cancer for many years. Barb was born July 29, 1952 to Sybil and Harry Frank in Great Falls, Montana and was raised in Butte. She also enjoyed her precious times on Flathead Lake where she began her love for nature and its creatures.

Barb met the true love of her life, Antonio Rodriguez Jr. in 1973 and in 1975 they began 36 years of total commitment to each other. Two daughters were born and Barb quickly taught us her respect for nature, and photography as evidenced in her thousands of pictures. She was especially enthralled with photos of wild flowers and butterflies.

Barb received her advanced education at Central Washington State College and taught special needs children for 18 years before her illness brought on retirement. Her love of life, family and friends was always obvious through her smiles, "heys", and quick-witted humor. Her laugh touched all who knew her. Anyone who shared the experience of fishing with Barb was soon put in their proper place as she always caught the most and the biggest fish.

Barb is survived by her husband Tony, daughters Sara 26, Jessica 24 and her only grandchild Logan 6, her brother Brian Frank and two sisters Carolyn Frank and Judy Shaw. She is preceded in death by her parents.
