Ben was born July 28, 1945 in Yakima, WA. His parents were Sebastian & Leeta (Badgley) Mastel. Ben was raised and educated in Yakima. He served in the U.S. Army and was Honorably Discharged. Ben worked in a variety of sales positions throughout his life. He especially enjoyed his family and was an avid golfer, whether playing or watching golf on television.
He is survived by his wife, Alex Howard of Union Gap and his children: Eric (Kerri) Creasy, Angela (Joseph) Vickers, Neil (Elizabeth) Creasy,
B.J. Creasy and Mathew (Michelle) Bland, all of Yakima; also 16 grandchildren, Rane, Torri, Sheridan, Locklynn, Melissa, Dylan, Elliott, Kate, Luke, Marcus, Justin, Grace, Jasmine, Austin, Cooper and Lincoln; also sisters, Klarice “Katy” Schmidt of Woodland, WA and Inez Hansen of San Jose, CA. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers.
A Wake will be held at 2:30 pm Sunday, March 21, 2010 at the Suntides Golf Course Clubhouse.
