

Bertha Belle (Smith) Reno passed away on November 7, 2015 at the age of 92. She joined the love of her life, James (Jim) Reno, her parents Willard and Ethyl Smith, and five of her siblings who preceded her in death.
Bertha was born October 14, 1923 in Mabton, Washington and was a life-long resident of Washington State. She graduated from Prosser High School. Growing up, she worked on a dairy farm and in the hay fields. Bertha married James Reno on July 18, 1942 in Kennewick, Washington, and after her wedding, bought a fruit farm in Parker Heights, Washington.
Bertha is survived by her children, Willard (Brenda) Reno, Patricia (Charles) Pratt, Kathryn Reno, Pamela (Timothy) Streeter, and Wallace (Nadine) Reno; she has 28 grandchildren, 44 great grandchildren, and 13 great great grandchildren.
Bertha loved to do embroidery and made over 200 quilts for family and friends.
A Memorial Service will be held at East Valley Reformed Church, located at 2703 Mieras Road in Moxee, Washington on Friday, November 20, 2015 at 10 a.m. A private family interment will follow.
