

On August 12th 2012 Bette J. Storey went to be with her Heavenly Father, Bette was born on March 15th 1927 to Elton and Virginia Weed in Grandview, Washington in 1943. She married William Storey in Cle Elum, Washington where she lived and raised three daughters. The family moved to the Ellensburg area where Bette was highly active in her community helping with the Ellensburg Rodeo, camp fire and assisting at the local nursing homes. Bette was always involved in her church. When she moved to the Yakima area in the early 1990s she attended Christian Life Center and that is where she brought many of her grandchildren to the Lord.
Bette is survived by her daughters, Sandra (Raymond) Grooters of Arab, Alabama, Sherrie (William) Schoetter of Selah, Washington and Shauna (Scott) Hobson of George, Washington; her grandchildren, Bill, Bob, Susan, Saina, Steven, Shanta, Stacee, Michael, Jay, Dan, Shawn, Seth, Shane, Steven, and Stephanie. Great grandchildren, Raymond, Brandi, Jacob, Kathleen, Jordan, Joshiwa, Chelsah, Chance, Zacc, Ethan, Collin, Levi, Charlie, Christopher, Camie, Skyler, Lexi, Colton, Gage, Summer, June and Maggie. Great-great grandchildren, LilliiAnna, Anthony, VivviiAnna, Haydon and Landon. Bette is also survived by many extended family and friends.
Bette was preceded in death by her husband, her mother and father, her two brothers Gene and Jack Weed and a granddaughter in law Vonda.
Our family would like to extend a special thank you to Joanne and Michelle and the other caring people from Yakima Valley Regional Hospice who helped Jordan take care of Bette so that she could remain at home in her final years.
Looking back with tenderness, along the path we trod, we bless the years we spent with you and leave the rest to God. Always loved and in our hearts!
