

Elizabeth "Betty" Cline of Yakima, 79, passed away July 13, 2011 at Cedar Hills Adult Center after a long battle with Alzheimer’s. Betty was born February 5, 1932 in Napoleon, North Dakota to Sebastian and Magdelina (Moser) Wald.
Betty grew up in Yakima, WA, but raised her family with her husband Gene in Tacoma, WA. They later returned to Yakima to enjoy their retirement. She worked as a Nurse's Aid and for various schools as a Kitchen Manager. Betty loved gardening and dancing, her favorites were the polka and the waltz.
Betty leaves behind four children, Gene (Mary), Daryl, Debbie, Kris (Kim) and four grandchildren, Cody and Kasy Swick and Britney and Bryson Cline.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Sebastian Wald and Magdelina (Moser) Gleason; husband, Gene Cline and sister, Alice Rothwell.
Visitation will be at 4:00 p.m., with a Vigil beginning at 6:00 p.m., Monday, July 18, 2011 at Langevin-Mussetter Funeral Home, Yakima.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, July 19th at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, Yakima. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery.
