Mom was the second of 8 children born to Warren and Elizabeth Stiner. She was born in Yakima and lived most of her life here. She married young and went on to have 7 children of her own. She also raised two of her granddaughters as her own and she will forever be “mom” to them.
Mom was a “Jill of all trades”, there wasn’t a job mom couldn’t do. She had a heart of gold and would be the first one there to help when anyone needed it. She also showed up just to visit whenever she felt like it. Mom was a social butterfly; she had countless friends. She made everyone feel welcome and accepted everyone as they were, just like Jesus does. Unconditional love was her way.
Mom followed the Lord in all her ways and believed with her whole heart in seeking God’s guidance in every situation. She trusted Him fully and knew that He would always provide. During mom’s final weeks she leaned on the Lord and was ready to meet Him face to face. We know she was anxious to take the Lord’s hand and hear, “My child, well done!”
Her hope for all her friends and family was always, that they would seek the Lord, find Him and accept Him as their personal savior. Mom’s prayers over the years have covered many, she loved with her whole heart and everyone she knew was dear to her.
Mom is survived by her children, Michael O’Neill, Dawn (Steve) Nesary, Peggy (Paul) Anderson, Harold (Michelle) Wilson, Warren (Pam) Ball and Chad (Beth) Ball. Son in law Tom Kirchgessner. 18 Grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren (31 due in June). She also has a few bonus grandchildren and great grandchildren due to blended families. Her sister Mary Kurvink, her brothers John and Victor Stiner. Also, by her special friend, Ed Yeager.
She was predeceased by her daughter Shirley Kirchgessner, 1 daughter in law Butsaba O’Neill, her parents, 3 brothers, 1 sister and 2 grandsons.
