Louise, I looked up you and Carl on the internet to give you the latest news on my parents, Harold and Ruby Dell Huwa, good friends from your Keenesburg days. I was saddened to learn Carl, or "Andy" as we knew him, had passed away. I remember visiting your beautiful home in Yakima with my parents and aunt, Marcella Davis many years ago and the warmth and love with which we were greeted. Mom (Ruby Dell) passed away on January 14 after a long and courageous struggle with Alzheimers. Like you and Carl, she and Dad had been married 63 years. Dad is now spending some time with my brother Rusty in Phoenix. He will return to Colo. after a couple of weeks. If you would like to call him, his number is 970 377 9980. His address is 4750 Wheaton Drive, Room 21, Ft. Collins, CO 80525. My phone number is 970 301 6147 and my email address is I know Mom and Carl are having a great reunion in heaven.

Now Carl is rejoicing in Heaven with Gram & Grampa Ben Eastburg, Mom (Aina), Dad (Bob), Uncle Joe & Auntie Viv, Alison, Marvin, and all the other dear ones. Carl was a very important person to me in my teen years. He had lots of words of wisdom for me and he was always ready to have a conversation with me. He treated me like a friend and not like just "one of those teenagers". I will always carry many wonderful memories of Carl. Please remember that my love and prayers are with the family.
