Claudia Marie Van Epps

On January 12, 2018 our beloved Mother went to be with our Father in Heaven. Claudia was born May 27, 1922 to Henry DeBord and Virginia Peters in Rupert, Idaho. The family came to Tieton, Washington where later she met Fred Van Epps and were married on August, 1937 in Ellensburg, Washington. Returning to Tieton, they made their home on the Van Epps homestead. They started their family and were blessed with 2 sons, Dean and John. Claudia spent her working career in the apple industry with Marley Orchards. Claudia will be missed by all who knew her; she was a wonderful lady.

Claudia is survived by her 2 sons, Dean and Cecilia Van Epps, and John Van Epps; 7 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren 3 great-great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Claudia was preceded in death by her parents, husband Fred, grandson Jeffery, daughter-in-law Clarvine, 1 sister, 3 brothers, and numerous brothers- and sisters-in-law.

Visitation will be Monday, January 22, 2018 from 2:00-8:00 p.m. There will be a Graveside Service at Terrace Heights Memorial Park Tuesday, January 23, 2018 at 1:00 p.m.
