

Clinton James Stearley, 65, of Selah, peacefully passed away at home on August 10, 2011 after a short battle with cancer. He was surrounded by family and friends sharing their love, stories, laughs and tears. Clint was born on December 21, 1945 in Los Angeles, CA.
Clint graduated from Tracy High School in Tracy, CA in 1964. He attended college in Stockton, CA prior to enlisting in the U.S. Air Force, serving from 1966-70. Clint spent 21 years in Alaska before moving to Washington. During the following 23 years he was employed by the State of Washington Dept. of Information Services.
Clint had great passion for firearms, computers, hats, anything to do with HAM radios, camping and was an avid kite flyer. He was a lifelong member of the National Rifle Association and a great supporter of the American way of life.
Clint is survived by his wife, Renee of Selah; brother, Fred (Cathy) Stearley of Chula Vista, CA; daughter, Rebecca Lynne (Shawn) Langton of Anchorage, AK; sons, Chris (Libby) Stearley of Lynnwood and Scott Stearley of Tacoma; stepchildren, Shaanon (John) Mahoney of Foresthill, CA, Alison (Mike ) Hanson of Selah, and Conrad Berg, Jr. of Moxee; grandchildren, Kevin, Tyler, Alex, Aaron, Chase, Jacob, Helen, Xander, Maelyn and Natalie; nieces, Tina Mathias and Sandra Bishop and his lifelong best friend, Ron (Sheri) Allotta of Olympia.
Clint always loved going to his brother-in-law and sister-in-law’s, Dave and Glory Christopher of Yakima for the best Christmas Eve parties ever.
Clint was preceded in death by his parents, C. Neal Stearley in 1992 and Helen Stearley in 1994.
