

Clyde was born on Oct. 27, 1924 in Powell, WY to Scott and Grace (Johnson) Miller. He served in the U.S. Navy during WWII. He married Sylvia Haugen in 1946.
After getting married, Clyde farmed at Heart Mountain outside of Powell, WY. In 1953, they homesteaded in Othello, WA. After selling the homestead, they moved to Connell where they owned a Standard Oil distributorship for many years before moving back to Othello and purchasing a farm. Farming was Clyde’s passion.
He finally retired in 1987 and moved to Yakima. Clyde kept busy volunteering such as providing help to walkers along the Yakima River Greenway and picking up food donations for the Union Gospel Mission.
Clyde is survived by his wife, Sylvia Miller of Yakima; children, Glenda (Bob) Heironimus of Yakima, Dianne Clift of Yakima, Debbie (Ted) Kudrna of Othello, Mark Miller of Yakima and Monica (Todd) Spencer of Harrah; sister, Donna Koch and a daughter-in-law, Carol Miller. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. Clyde was preceded in death by a son, Gary Miller.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, April 10, 2015 at Rainier Memorial Center with burial following at Terrace Heights Memorial Park. To share a memory, visit www.keithandkeith.com
