My sincerest condolences.  I met David at On the Boulevard, and not only appreciated his expertise in hair, but thoroughly enjoyed his stories and sense of humor.  He will be greatly missed, but never forgotten.

I met David not long after he opened his salon in Yakima. 

He was funny, irreverent and full of life.  He loved his work and his clients. 

I will miss his smile. RIP David!

David was my very best friend and family for 46 years. We were roommates while I went to beauty college. I worked in his salon, in the chair next to him in LA; he walked me down the isle when I got married and became 'Uncle David' to my daughter. We went through all of life's ups and downs together; celebrated the good times and the less good times. Always best friends-forever and ever.

David was funny and sarcastic with an absolutely wicked sense of humor unmatched by any person I've ever known. He was kind, generous and didn't suffer fools lightly. His career as a stylist gave him such great joy and he loved his clientele and making them feel beautiful.

Oh my dear David, my life will not be the same without you, but I will carry you in my heart forever and ever. I love you.

Rest in peace, David.  We have had many memories over the years...you will be missed.

David was my hairdresser for at least 30 yrs.  David was one of a kind, funny opinionated and the kindest person I’ve ever known.  I’ll miss my long talks on the phone in the evening.
