Born in Yakima, Washington, on February 6, 1952, at St. Elizabeth Hospital, Debra was the daughter of Gerald and Minnie Carvo and the fourth of nine children. She grew up in a lively and loving home filled with laughter, faith, and sibling mischief—an upbringing that shaped her deep sense of family and compassion. A lifelong Washington resident, Debra carried those values with her throughout her life, touching the hearts of everyone she met.
She worked for many years as a dedicated Pharmacy Technician before her retirement. Known for her sharp wit and warm heart, Debra was always ready with a joke, a hug, or a firm reminder that bingo night was not to be interrupted. Her passion for bingo was more than a hobby—it was a ritual that brought her joy, camaraderie, and the occasional jackpot.
She is survived by her loving husband of 49 years, Richard Hutchinson; her daughter, Stephanie Gutierrez; her sons, Scott and Steven Hutchinson; her cherished grandchildren, Austin and Tyler; and her beloved great-grandson, Zander, who brought a sparkle to her later years.
Funeral services will be provided by Langevin Funeral Home in Yakima. Debra’s family welcomes all who knew and loved her to join in honoring her memory and celebrating her life.
