Donita Louise (Reinmuth) Groth, age 80, of Yakima, Washington passed away peacefully on Monday, September 29, 2025. Donita was born on October 7, 1944 to Herbert and Velma (Green) Reinmuth in Yakima, Washington.
Donita spent much of her life in Yakima, where she worked as a cook in several local care facilities. She was known for her kindness, hard work, and the love she showed through the meals she prepared for others. She enjoyed going to the beach and taking long walks in the sand and tide. She especially enjoyed visiting Cannon Beach, Oregon with her family.
She is survived by her brother, Kenneth Reinmuth; two daughters, Lori Graves of Benge, Washington, and Linda Wyatt of Yakima, Washington; five grandchildren, Kevin (Brittney), Danielle (Jr), Lisa, Richard (Melissa), and Jeremy; and thirteen great grandchildren, all who brought her endless joy.
Donita will be remembered for her caring heart, her quiet strength, and her devotion to her family. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
A visitation for Donita will be held Friday, October 17, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Keith & Keith Funeral Home, 902 West Yakima Ave, Yakima, WA 98902. A funeral service will take place immediately following the visitation beginning at 11:00 AM. A graveside service will occur Friday, October 17, 2025, from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at West Hills Memorial Park, 11800 Douglas Rd, Yakima, WA 98908. All that knew and loved Donita and her family are invited to attend and share memories with the family.
