Dorothy M Jenkins

Dorothy worked for Sea-First Bank (now Bank of America) for 40 years in many capacities. She was a branch manager at the time of her retirement. After her retirement, Dorothy and her husband, Ron, enjoyed traveling. They visited England, Scotland, Wales, Hawaii and many sites in the states. They spent a lot of time in Lincoln City, OR and summered at Squaw Rock.

Dorothy was an avid Mariners fan and enjoyed watching their games, especially when they won. She also liked doing crossword puzzles.

Dorothy was a lifelong member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church.

Dorothy is survived by her son, Robert A. Jenkins of Chehalis; 2 sisters, Joyce Roether and Dorene (Dee) Church of Yakima; 2 sisters-in-law Betty Heinl of Portland and Colleen (Jim) Lisner of Seatte; special friend Rosetta Smith of Yakima; numerous nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews. Dorothy had no grandchildren but she was Nana to many. She was preceded in death by her husband W. Ronald Jenkins, 2 sons, Ronald and Rodney and her parents.

A memorial service will be held Saturday June 30, 2012 at 1:30 at Bethlehem Lutheran Church. She was laid to rest in the Terrrace Heights Memorial Park.
