You were a good friend and a good man.  I looked back on our photos as friends and we had some really fun times ( I chose not to share these photos out of respect :). I wish I had kept in touch over the years so I could have gotten to know your girls. Knowing what a gentle man you were, I'm sure you made a great Dad.  May you rest in peace knowing the many lives you touched and made better.

Doug was a wonderful friend and neighbor.  He treated me and my family as part of his. He teased my son and my cats to no end. He yelled security every time he saw me at the store. How I'll miss not hearing that in the store.
Doug loved his family with every fiber of his being. He was a loving husband and father. He was so very proud of his daughters.
Joanne was the love of his life and he the love of her life.
He brought joy and laughter to us when we needed it most and always there to lend a helping hand.
We will never forget you Doug. You will always have a special place in our hearts.

Doug was like my older brother always very protective. Growing up we did everything together. Doug Jeff and I. We went camping almost every weekend with grandma and grandpa to Rimrock or Bumping Lake; one weekend we caught a whole 5 gallon bucket of salamanders. Their mother wouldn’t let them keep them but mine did. So we turned them loose in the irrigation ditch at my house so we could catch them again. We never found them again. They also took me on dates with their girlfriends to see if I liked them.  We always had a good time together. So many wonderful memories. Lots of love to his family he was a wonderful person.

I am so sorry to hear of your husbands passing.  My thoughts and prayers are with you during this most difficult time.  I know that it has been an extremely difficult year for your family.   I am truly sorry!

Joanne, I’m so sorry to hear about Doug’s passing. I have such fond memories of working with him at Safeway and playing baseball in the evenings or running into him at the golf course. He was always smiling and anxious to share stories about you and the girls. He will be truly missed. 

We had a lot of great times working together at Vitamilk and bird hunting on our days off once in awhile. He took me under his wing and taught me a lot about being a milkman. He was the best milkman ever to learn from and like a big brother to me and such a great friend. I’m so sorry for your loss Joanne, Erin and Kelly and everyone.

My name is Robin Duvall and Doug was my older brother.  I just received the news of his passing last night from my oldest daughter. I am in a state of shock and disbelief.  Even though I live in Louisiana, I am going to miss my brother so greatly. I have so many beautiful memories  of doug.

Doug was a great person and will be missed by everyone that knew him.

 Loved our drives to Bickleton together when he worked for Ray's.
  I will miss his monthly calls checking in on all of us at Ray's.
