He was born in Wapato, Washington on September 14, 1940 to Esther Nadine (Warren) and Earl Levi Albertson.
Ear received his PhD in education in 1972, working then as an administrator for the Seattle School District. Then he returned to Wapato when his parents decided to sell the family farm. He spent 27 years in education with nearly all of that time as a high school Special Education teacher at Davis in Yakima.
He was preceded in death by his father Earl, and his mother Nadine, and step-father Roy Richards.
Earl is survived by his wife of 56 years, Janet; his two sons, Greg and Kurt (Mary); granddaughter Anna; and grandsons Garet and Jason.
As a Christian, Earl had an unwavering faith in the Lord, which guided him throughout his life.
