Ed is survived by the love of his life Maryellen who he shared so many memories with over the past 34 years. His daughters Lisa (John) Kapuza, Lori (Damon) Thompson and Ed (Deb) Reinhart. His Brother Bruce (Leslie) Reinhart and their two children Lana (Kurt) Ortwein and Cara Felosak and her two sons Evan and Brayden. Our Dad is in heaven now with his parents Edward C. Reinhart, Sr. and Katherine Reinhart.
To know our Dad means that you also knew of his pride with their 7 grandchildren. Michael and Ryan Thompson, Jonathan and Jacob Sabari, Gracie Smith, Katie and Ashley Reinhart. His life was tightly woven into their many activities.
Our Dad loved the outdoors which including hiking and the countless fishing trips. He was a master Chef on the grill and loved being on his deck surrounded by good friends and family. We don’t think anyone left hungry at their house over the countless birthdays, holidays and events. He loved watching the Red Sox and WSU Cougar football team.
Our Dad’s work ethic was instilled in all of us and he finished his career as Vice President of Sales at Tree Top retiring in 2006. He truly loved being part of that family and remained in contact with many of his colleagues.
A special thank you to Dr. Mark Berman and the dedicated emergency room staff at Memorial Hospital.
We will hold a vigil on Tuesday April 19th at 6:00 pm at Keith and Keith and a celebration of life at Holy Family on Wednesday, April 20, 2016 at 10:00 am. He will be laid to rest next to his parents at the Terrace Heights Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, we kindly ask that you honor our Dad with a donation to either the Yakima Sunrise Club, Wags to Riches or Rod’s House.
His final wish would be to tell the people around you how much you love them.
His kindness and gentle smile will be in our hearts forever.
