Eileen in her younger years worked for Everett Pacific Shipbuilding and Dry Dock Company during World War 2, her small frame allowed her to clean boilers and seam drums on large military ships. After World War 2 she moved to the Yakima Valley and worked in the restaurant industry until her retirement at age 76. She had no children of her own but acted as a mother to many. Eileen was a devoted woman to her family.
She is survived by sisters Donna Nelson and Marvyl Goodwater, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
