Eleanor Thomas

Eleanor attended Battin High School in Elizabeth, New Jersey. She moved with her son to Selah, WA in January 2010 due to illness.

She married Herbert Thomas on July 1, 1989, in Middletown Township, NJ. Before his passing in 1997, they enjoyed traveling twice a year on Island Cruises.

Eleanor attended church when living in Toms River, NJ at Community Baptist Church in Manchester, NJ and enjoyed playing the organ and piano for the church and choir, Rev. Alexander Smith, Pastor. She also enjoyed spending time on the phone with her sister singing their favorite praise songs, before the passing of her sister in 2010.

She was predeceased by her father Clarence Williams; mother Eleanor Wilson-Williams; and sister Mary Ann Williams.

Eleanor leaves to cherish her precious memories, one son: Ellery (Christy) Banks of Selah, WA; grandson Nigee; great grandson Caden; and great granddaughter Day’ja, of Yakima, WA. Eleanor held a special place in her heart for her niece Linda Green of Henrico, VA, along with longtime friend “Joe” of Toms Rover, NJ.

Viewing will be Friday, August 22, 2014 from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Keith & Keith Funeral Home.

A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, August 23, 2014, at 11:00 a.m. at Rainier Memorial Center,

with burial to follow at Terrace Heights Memorial Park.

God’s Garden

God looked around his garden,

He then looked down to Earth
